ti <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> g[� <br /> 2 <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE <br /> TRINITY DELMAR REDEVELOPMENT AREA <br /> BY AND AMONG THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br /> THE LAND CLEARANCE FOR <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI AND <br /> RENAISSANCE I REDEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br /> This Agreement is made as of the day <br /> of , 1984, by and among the CITY OF UNIVERSITY <br /> CITY, a municipal corporation (the "City" ) , LAND CLEARANCE FOR <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, a public <br /> body corporate and politic (which together with any successor <br /> public body designated by or pursuant to law is hereinafter <br /> termed the "Authority" ) established pursuant to the Land <br /> Clearance for Redevelopment Authority Law of the State of <br /> Missouri (the "Land Clearance Law" ) , the City and the Authority <br /> having their offices at 6801 Delmar Boulevard, University City, <br /> Missouri 63130, and RENAISSANCE I REDEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, a <br /> corporation organized and existing under Chapter 353 Revised <br /> Statutes of Missouri (the "Redeveloper" ) , and having its <br /> corporate offices at 3150 Shenandoah Blvd. , St. Louis, <br /> Missouri 63104. <br /> WHEREAS, the City, pursuant to Chapter 99, Missouri <br /> Revised Statutes, 1978, as amended (the "Act" ) , in November of <br /> 1959 adopted a resolution finding that certain blighted areas <br /> existed within the City; <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. the City found and <br /> determined that the Trinity Delmar Redevelopment Area more <br /> particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto (the <br /> of redevelopment under <br /> " is blighted and in need P <br /> Project Area w ) g <br /> the Act; <br /> WHEREAS, the Authority has previously approved the <br /> Trinity Delmar Redevelopment Plan (the "Plan" ) and <br /> WHEREAS, the Redeveloper in response to the advertise- <br /> ment for proposals submitted a development proposal (the <br /> "Proposal" ) for the development of the Project Area to the <br /> Authority on October 4, 1984 ; <br /> WHEREAS, the Authority on October 24, 1984, approved <br /> the Proposal for the Project Area; <br /> WHEREAS, the Authority on September 19, 1984, by <br /> resolution (the "Inducement Resolution" ) authorized the financ- <br /> ing of the acquisition, rehabilitation, improvement and equip- <br /> ping of the Project Area from the proceeds of the Authority' s <br />
