INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER SCHOOMER <br /> BILL NO. 7666 ORDINANCE NO. 5462 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER <br /> 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFI- <br /> CATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PA [PUBLIC <br /> ACTIVITY] TO PR-0 [PLANNED RESIDENTIAL-OFFICE] AS SET FORTH <br /> IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE UNIVERSITY <br /> CITY ZONING CODE. <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University <br /> City [University City Zoning Code] divides the City into several zoning <br /> districts, and regulates the character of buildings which may be erected in <br /> each of said districts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises <br /> located therein may be put; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, after a hearing, reviewed the <br /> classification of the property herein described and recommended the rezoning <br /> of said property to "PR-0"; and <br /> WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City <br /> Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall, at 7:30 P.M. on th 14th day of <br /> January, 1985, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation within said City; and <br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held and the matter of the <br /> zoning change was thoroughly discussed at said meeting. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of Univer- <br /> sity City, as comprehensively amended October 19, 1970, by Ordinance No. 4591 <br /> be and the same is hereby amended by changing the classification from PA <br /> [Public Activity] to PR-0 [Planned Residential-Office] of the following <br /> described property to wit: <br /> The East part of Lot 52 of CENTRAL SUBURBS, according to <br /> the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 23 of the <br /> St. Louis City [former County] Records, and described as <br /> follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot <br /> 52, being the Northwest corner of Hanley Road and Black- <br /> berry Avenue; thence along the West line of Hanley Road, <br /> North 2 degrees 58 minutes West, 16.85-1/2 chains to the <br /> northeast corner of said Lot 52; thence North 76 degrees <br /> 54 minutes West, 7.47-3/4 chains to point; thence South 7 <br /> degrees 45 minutes West, 16.07 chains to point in North <br /> line of Blackberry Avenue; thence along said North line <br /> South 76 degrees 33 minutes East, 10.64-3/4 chains to the <br /> beginning, containing 14.595 acres, according to a survey <br /> made by August Elbring, Surveyor on February 18 and March <br /> 5, 1895, EXCEPTING THEREFROM the East 20 feet taken for <br /> widening of Hanley Road, together with improvements there- <br /> on known as 951 North Hanley Road, University City, <br /> Missouri. <br /> Subject to conditions, easements, restrictions and limi- <br /> tations of record and to rights and tenants, if any. <br />
