f <br /> i <br /> a <br /> INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER MAJERUS <br /> BILL NO. 7669 ORDINANCE NO. 5465 <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION TO THE QUALI- <br /> FIED VOTERS OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY THE SETTING OF <br /> CERTAIN FEES BY THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER SO AS TO <br /> INCREASE SAID FEES, THE SAME TO BE SUBMITTED TO SAID <br /> ELECTORS AT THE GENERAL ELECTION APRIL 2, 1985. <br /> WHEREAS, in view of the dramatic rise in cost of municipal govern- <br /> ment, the City Council desires to increase certain fees set by the Building <br /> Commissioner to be charged for certain services to be provided by the Building <br /> E <br /> Commissioner of the City of University City, and to submit to the electorate <br /> the approval of said fees at an election to be held on Tuesday, April 2, <br /> 1985. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVER- <br /> SITY CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. That an election be and the same is hereby called and <br /> ordered to be held in the City of University City, Missouri, on Tuesday, the <br /> 2nd day of April, 1985, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified <br /> electors of said City the propositions as set forth in the Notice of Election <br /> as contained in Section 3 of this ordinance. <br /> Section 2. That said election shall be held in all of the voting <br /> precincts in the said City as heretofore established by order of the Board of <br /> Election Commissioners for St. Louis County, Missouri, and as hereinafter set <br /> forth in the Notice of Election as contained in Section 3 of this ordinance. <br /> Section 3. That, there being no newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of University City, the City Clerk of said City shall be <br /> and the said Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be published <br /> in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper published in the County of St. Louis, <br /> wherein said City of University City is located, a notice of said election in <br /> substantially the following form, to-wit: <br />
