INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER ADAMS BILL NO. 7680 ORDINANCE NO. 5476 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-132 THEREOF, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 5331, ENACTED MAY 10, 1982, RELATING TO PROHIBITED PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-132. PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS-AT ALL TIMES," BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PERSHING AVENUE FROM THE ALLEY WEST OF JACKSON AVENUE TO WEST POINT COURT; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter. 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City,_ y, relating to motor vehicles and traffic is hereby amended by repealing Section .21-132, thereof as amended by Ordinance No. 5331, enacted May 10, 1982, relating to parking prohibitions on certain streets at all times, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 21- 132. Parking prohibitions on certain streets - at all times," by amending said section so as to prohibit parking on the north side of Pershing Avenue from the alley west of Jackson Avenue to West Point Court; relating to the same subject, and re-enacting said section so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: Sec. 21-132. Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times. The ' following streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as places where the parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times: Alley North of Loop North: Both. sides thereof from the r first alley east of Kingsland Avenue to Leland Avenue, Asbury Avenue_: East side thereof. between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. Amherst Avenue: Along the perimeter of the triangular island at the intersection -of Midland Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue. Big Bend Boulevard: Both sides from the south City limits Forsyth Boulevard, and'from Lindell Boulevard .northwardly to Millbrook Boulevard. Blackberry Place: On the west side thereof from Shaftes- bury Avenue to Blackberry Avenue; Bland Drive: West side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. Burch Lane cul-de-sac: From a point on the west side of the Burch Lane cul-de-sac _42 feet 'north of the drive in front of 1169 Burch Lane, extending along the north and east sides of the cul-de-sac to the frontage at 1156 Burch Lane.
