CLASSIFICATION OF LICENSES; FEES, <br /> TERMS AND REGULATIONS",) BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO <br /> PROVIDE FORA NEW CLASS OF RETAIL LIQUOR LICENSE AND <br /> LIMITING THEIR NUMBER TO TWO; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE <br /> AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br /> MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> University City, relating to alcoholic beverages is hereby amended by repeal- <br /> ing Section 4-7 thereof, as amended by Ordinance No. 5321, enacted March 1, <br /> 1982, relating to the classification of licenses; fees, terms and regu- <br /> lations, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section <br /> } <br /> 4-7. Licenses--classification of licenses; fees, terms and regulations", by <br /> amending said section so as to provide for a new class of retail liquor <br /> license and limiting their number to two, relating to the same subject, and <br /> re-enacting said section so that said section, as so amended, shall read as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 4-7. Licenses--Classification of licenses; <br /> fees, terms and regulations. <br /> k <br /> 9 <br /> The various classes of licenses, their terms and regulations and <br /> license fees to be paid upon the issuance of licenses pursuant 'to <br /> this article upon application therefor shall be as follows: <br /> 1. Manufacturers, brewers, etc. <br /> a. For the privilege of manufacturing and brewing in this City <br /> malt liquor containing not in excess of five per cent of alcohol by <br /> weight the sum of Three Hundred Dollars; <br /> b. For the privilege of manufacturing in this City intoxicating <br /> liquor containing not in excess of twenty-two per cent of alcohol <br /> by weight the sum of One Hundred Fifty Dollars; <br /> c. For the privilege of manufacturing, distilling or blending <br /> intoxicating liquor of all kinds within this City the sum of Three <br /> Hundred Dollars; <br /> d. For the privilege of manufacturing, in quantities not to exceed <br /> five thousand gallons, light wine containing not in excess of four- <br /> teen per cent of alcohol by weight exclusively from grapes, berries ' <br /> and other fruits and vegetable grown in the State of Missouri, <br /> there shall be paid to and collected by the City, in lieu of the <br /> charges provided herein, a license fee of Five dollars for each <br />
