PROJECT NO. 759, AND PAYING... THEREFOR.PARTIALLY.BY .LEVYING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT Oft TAX AGAINST THE ABUTTING PROPERTY IN THE NAME OR NAMES OF THE OWNER OR OWNERS THEREOF AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL TAX BILLS THEREFOR, AND. PARTIALLY IN CASH BY THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY-CITY— MISSOURL, OUT OF AVAILABLE CITY FUNDS, ALL IN ACCORDANCE.WITH THE PROPERLY ADVERTISED RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE- -COUNCIL OF SAID CITY ON THE TWENTY SEVENTH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1984, AND UNDER PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO 5424, PASSED THE TWENTY THIRD DAY OF APRIL, 1984, AND THE CONTRACT ENTERED INTO PURSUANT THERETO AND THE COUNCIL FOUND AND DECLARED IT NECESSARY THAT THE IMPROVEMENT BE MADE. WHEREAS, the Council-of . the- City of University City, Missouri, did adopt a resolution on. ..the. 27th_ : day .'- of February, 1984. for the work of s improving Trenton. Avenue..extending. . from Lamb Avenue to Midland Boulevard a distance of approximately Two Hundred Eighty (280) feet, in the City of University City, Missouri, and. setting forth the estimated "Whole Cost" t thereof, which cost included the expenses estimated to be incurred by the City F for surveys, places, supervision, engineering services and all other City s expenses necessary to complete the work satisfactorily; said "Whole Cost" to be paid for partially by a special assessment_ or .tax against the abutting Iproperty in the name or names of the owner or owners thereof within the limits of the benefit district and partially in cash by .the.City of University City, Missouri, out of available._ City funds; that the said special tax bills evidencing such assessment be. issued. to the-contractor in Davment for the tax bill Portion of said work, and fixing a date for Public hearing thereon; and WHEREAS, notice of said public hearing was published in the St . Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation-published in St . Louis County, Missouri, on the 23rd day. of-March, .1984,.- providing that said public hearing be held on the. 9th.day of April. 1984; and WHEREAS. said.public, hearing. was. duly held. on the 9th day of April, 1984. and all suggestions or objections.concerning said improvement were duly heard and considered by the Council and. the.
