INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER SCHOOMER <br /> BILL NO. 7688 ORDINANCE NO. 5486 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER <br /> 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591 , BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFI- <br /> CATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PA [PUBLIC <br /> ACTIVITY] TO PR--O [PLANNED RESIDENTIAL-OFFICE] AS SET FORTH <br /> IN SECTION 34=9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE UNIVERSITY <br /> CITY ZONING CODE. <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University <br /> } <br /> City [University City Zoning Code] divides the City into several zoning <br /> districts, and regulates the character of buildings which may be erected in <br /> i <br /> each of said districts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises <br /> located therein may be put; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, after a hearing, reviewed the <br /> classification of the property herein described and recommended the rezoning <br /> of said propertry to "PR-0"; and <br /> WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City <br /> Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall, at 7 :30 P.M. on th 14th day of <br /> January, 1985, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation within said City; and <br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held and the matter of the <br /> zoning change was thoroughly discussed at said meeting. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of Univer- <br /> sity City, as comprehensively amended October 19, 1970, by Ordinance No. 4591 <br /> be and the same is hereby amended by changing the classification from PA <br /> [Public Activity] to PR-0 [Planned Residential-Office) of the following <br /> described property to wit: <br /> A parcel of land consisting of Lots 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 33, <br /> 34, 35 and 36, part of Lot A, Block 1 , of Kingsland Place, a <br /> Subdivision recorded in Plat Book 10, Page 74, of the St. <br /> Louis County Records, and in part of U. S. Survey 378, Town- <br /> ship 45 North, Range 6 East, St. Louis County, Missouri, and <br /> being more particularly described as follows: <br /> G <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the Eastern line of <br /> Pennsylvania Avenue, 60 feet wide and the Northern <br /> line of Vernon Avenue, 60 feet wide; thence along the <br /> Northern line of said Vernon Avenue, South 82 degrees <br /> 16 minutes East 883.27 feet to the Southeastern <br /> corner of said Lot 32; thence along the Eastern line <br /> of said Lots 32 and 5, and its prolongation North- <br /> wardly, North 07 degrees 42 minutes 29 seconds East <br /> 290.05 feet to the Southern line of Olive Street Road; <br />
