From and after June 26, 1985, initially payable July 12, <br /> 1985, the Fire Captains and Firefighters, hereinafter designated, shall receive <br /> as compensation for their services such amounts as may be fixed by the City <br /> i <br /> Manager in accordance with the Civil Service Rules and Pay Grade Schedule A, <br /> included herein, and not less than the lowest amount and not greater than the <br /> highest amount set forth in Schedule B. From and after July 1, 1985, all full-time non-executive, <br /> non-administrative or non-professional employees shall be subject to the work <br /> week or work cycle and regulations relating to overtime work except as noted. A <br /> a <br /> listing of executive, administrative, and professionally designated employees or <br /> positions shall be issued by the City Manager. <br /> The work cycle of uniformed Fire personnel below the rank of <br /> Battalion Chief shall be 27 days or 216 hours per cycle. <br /> 4 <br /> Hours worked in excess of these totals, when authorized in <br /> advance by the Fire Chief, shall be paid at the rate of time <br /> and one-half of base pay, or in lieu thereof, the Fire Chief <br /> in his discretion may grant compensatory time off within the <br /> same work cycle. Hours worked, including vacation hours, <br /> between 204 and 216 hours, in any one cycle shall be compen- <br /> sated for, in addition to their regular rate, at one-half <br /> (1/2) of that employee's regular hourly rate. <br /> Section 3. A) From and after June 26, 1985, initially payable July 12, <br /> 1985, Fire Captains and Firefighters shall receive compensation for five years <br /> consecutive City service, excepting military leave of absence, in their present <br /> classification in the following amounts, from the sixth (6th) year through the <br /> tenth (10th) year: <br /> In Pay Grade Monthly Amount <br /> 11A Firefighters $38 <br /> 16A Fire Captains $45 <br />
