INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER SCHOOMER BILL N0. 7695 ORDINANCE NO. 5491 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PA (PUBLIC ACTIVITY) TO PR-0 (PLANNED RESIDENTIAL-OFFICE) AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE UNIVERSITY CITY ZONING CODE. WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City (University City Zoning Code) divides the City into several zoning districts, and regulates the character of buildings which may be erected in each of said dis- tricts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises located therein may be put; and WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, after a hearing, reviewed the classi- fication of the property herein described and recommended the rezoning of said property to "PR-0"; and k WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Council in the Council Chambers, at City Hall, at 7:30 p.m. on the 8th day of July, 1985, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation with- in said City; and WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held and the matter of the zoning change was thoroughly discussed at said meeting; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF. THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY s CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, as comprehensively amended October 19, 1970, by Ordinance No. 4591 be and the same is hereby amended by changing the classification from PA (Public Activ- ity) to PR-0 (Planned Residential-Office) of the following described B'nai Amoona property to wit:. Lots #5 through loll, Block 3 of Rosedale Heights Subdivision, as shown on a plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 2, page 60, of the St. Louis County records. Section 2. Except for the change of the classification herein made, 5 said Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of University City (the University City Zoning Code) shall remain in full force and effect, as heretofore amended, and all the provisions, conditions, restrictions and regulations therein shall apply to the property herein described, according to the classification in which it is placed by this ordinance. z Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, as provided by law.
