INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER LEVY BILL NO. 7703 ORDINANCE NO. 5499 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-82 THEREOF, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 5492, ENACTED JULY 22, 1985, RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-82. STOP INTERSECTIONS--VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS," BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO ESTABLISH FOUR-WAY STOP SIGNS AT THE INTER- SECTION OF WATERMAN-WELLESLEY AND A STOP SIGN FOR GAY AVENUE AT GANNON AVENUE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. t BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, relating to Motor Vehicles and Traffic is hereby amended by repealing Section 21-82 thereof, as amended by Ordinance No. 5492, enacted July 22, 1985, relating to stop intersections, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 21-82. Stop intersections--Vehicles to stop at certain intersections," by amending said section so as to establish four-way stop signs at the intersection of Waterman-Wellesley and a stop sign for Gay Avenue at Gannon Avenue, re-enacting said section so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: r Section 21-82. Stop intersections--Vehicles to stop at certain intersections. The following street intersections are hereby designated as "stop intersections" for certain entrances thereto within the meaning of this Chapter.
