INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER LEVY <br /> BILL N0. 7713 ORDINANCE NO. 5509 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE F <br /> CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER <br /> 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFI- <br /> CATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED SR [SINGLE- <br /> FAMILY RESIDENTIAL] TO PRO [PLANNED RESIDENTIAL-OFFICE] AS <br /> SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY ZONING CODE. <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code_ of the City of University <br /> City [University City Zoning Code] divides the City into several zoning <br /> districts, and regulates the character of buildings which may be erected in <br /> each of said districts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises <br /> located therein may be put; and <br /> E <br /> t <br /> WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, after a hearing, reviewed the <br /> classification of the property herein described and recommended the rezoning <br /> of said property to "PRO"; and <br /> is <br /> WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City <br /> Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall, at 7:30 P.M. on th 25th day of <br /> t <br /> November, 1985, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation within said City; and <br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held and the matter of the <br /> zoning change was thoroughly discussed at said meeting. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> k <br /> Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of Univer- <br /> sity City, as comprehensively amended October 19, 1970, by Ordinance No. 4591 <br /> be and the same is hereby amended by changing the classification from SR <br /> [Single Family-Residential] to PRO [Planned Residential-Office] of the follow- <br /> ing described property to wit: <br /> 8616 West Kingsbury: <br /> The East 1/2 of Lot 10 of BOSCHERT'S ADDITION TO CLAYTON <br /> according to Plat Book 9, Page 37, of the St. Louis County <br /> Records, and also including that part of Kingsbury Avenue <br /> vacated by Ordinance 5122 recorded in Book 7121, Page 1393 z <br /> and described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast <br /> corner of Lot 10; thence along the North line of Lot 10 in <br /> a Westwardly direction 25 feet to a point; thence North at <br /> right angles to the North line of Lot 10, 20 feet to the <br /> 7 <br /> center line of Kingsbury Avenue; thence East and parallel <br /> to the North line of Lot 10 a distance of 25 feet to a <br /> point; thence South 20 feet to place of beginning. <br /> 8620 West Kingsbury: <br /> The West 1/2 of Lot 10 of BOSCHERT'S ADDITION TO CLAYTON, <br /> according to Plat Book 9, Page 37. <br />
