INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER ADAMS BILL P]0. 7717 ORDINANCE NO. 5513 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-82 THEREOF, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 5499, ENACTED OCTOBER 21, 1985, RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-82. STOP INTERSECTIONS--VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS," BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO ESTABLISH FOUR-WAY STOP SIGNS AT THE INTER- SECTION OF CORNELL-BEMISTON; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, relating to Motor Vehicles and Traffic is hereby amended by repealing Section 21-82 thereof, as amended by Ordinance No. 5499, enacted October 21, 1985, relating to stop intersections, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 21•-82. Stop intersections--Vehicles to stop at certain intersections," by amending said section so as to establish four-way stop signs at the intersection of Cornell-Bemiston, re-enacting said section so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: Section 21-82. Stop intersections--Vehicles to stop at certain intersections. The following street intersections are hereby designated as "stop intersections" for certain entrances thereto within the meaning of this Chapter.
