Section 4. From and after February 5, 1986, all full-time non- <br /> executive, non-administrative or non-professional employees shall be subject to <br /> the work week or work cycle and regulations relating to overtime work except as <br /> noted. A listing of executive, administrative, and professionally designated <br /> employees or positions shall be issued by the City Manager. k <br /> 1. Department heads shall not be paid overtime nor receive <br /> compensatory time for hours worked in excess of 40 per week. f <br /> 2. Department heads may grant compensatory time to their <br /> designated executive, administrative, or professional <br /> employees for hours worked in excess of 40 per week. <br /> t <br /> 3. The normal work week for full-time office, field, mainte- <br /> nance, and police personnel, and for police and fire <br /> executive and administrative employees is set at 40 hours per <br /> week. <br /> 4. Hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week, when <br /> authorized in advance by department heads, shall be paid at <br /> the rate of time and one-half or in lieu thereof, department <br /> heads in their discretion may grant compensatory time off. <br /> 5. The average work week of Battalion Chiefs shall be 56 <br /> hours. Hours worked in excess of these totals when <br /> f <br /> authorized in advance by the Fire Chief shall be paid at the <br /> rate of time and one-half or in lieu thereof, the Fire Chief <br /> may grant discretionary compensatory time off. <br /> Section 5. A) From and after February 5, 1986, initially payable <br /> February 21, 1986, the commissioned Police personnel excluding the Chief, in the <br /> pay grades shown, shall receive compensation for five years consecutive City <br /> service, excepting military leave of absence, in their present classification in <br /> rt <br /> the following amounts, from the sixth (6th) year through the tenth (10th) year: <br /> In Pay Grade Monthly Amount <br /> 12P $44 <br /> 16P 49 <br /> 18P 57 <br /> 21P 68 <br /> B) From and after February 5, 1986, initially payable <br /> February 21, 1986, the commissioned Police personnel excluding the Chief, in the <br /> pay grades shown, shall receive compensation for ten years consecutive City <br /> service, excepting military leave of absence, in their present classification in <br /> i <br /> the following amounts, from and after the eleventh (11th) year: <br /> In Pay Grade Monthly Amount <br /> 12P $ 83 <br /> 16P 98 <br /> 18P 113 <br /> 21P 135 <br /> 5 <br />
