INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER LEVY BILL NO. 7727 ORDINANCE NO. 5525 . -AN QRD.INANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFI- CATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED "SR", SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, TO "PD", PLANNED DEVELOPMENT, AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE UNIVERSITY CITY ZONING CODE. WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City [University City Zoning Code] divides the City into several zoning districts, and regulates the character of buildings which may be erected in each of said districts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises located therein may be put; and WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, after a hearing, reviewed the P classification -of the property herein described and recommended the rezoning of said property to "PD"; and WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall, at 7:30 P.M. on the 27th day of January, 1986, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City; and WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held and the matter of the zoning change was thoroughly discussed at said meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: 6 Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, as comprehensively amended October 19, 1970, by Ordinance No. 4591 be and the same is 'hereby amended by changing the classification from "SR", Single Family-Residential, to "PD", Planned Development , of the follow- ing described property to wit: Lots 1, 2, and 3 in Block 4 of Delmar Heights according to Plat Book 14, pa es 34 and 35, of the St. Louis County Records; and furtter described and known as. 500 N. North and South Boulevard. Section 2. Except for the change of classification herein made, said Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of University City [the University City e Zoning Code] shall remain in full force and effect, as heretofore amended, and all the provisions, conditions, restrictions and , regulation therein shall apply to the property herein described, according to the classification in which it is placed by this ordinance.
