INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER MAJERUS <br /> BILL NO. 7731 ORDINANCE N0. 5527 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER <br /> 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFI- <br /> CATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED "HR", <br /> HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, TO "IC", INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL, AS <br /> SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY ZONING CODE. <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University <br /> City [University City Zoning Code] divides the City into several zoning <br /> districts, and regulates the character of buildings which may be erected in <br /> each of said districts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises <br /> located therein may be put; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, after a hearing, reviewed the <br /> classification of the property herein described and recommended the rezoning <br /> of said property to "IC"; and <br /> WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City <br /> Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall, at 7:30 P.M. on the 10th day of <br /> February, 1986, was duly published January 22, 1986, in the St. Louis Countian, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation within said City; and <br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held and the matter of the <br /> zoning change was thoroughly discussed at said meeting. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. ' Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> University City, as comprehensively amended October 19, 1970, by Ordinance No. <br /> 4591 be and the same is hereby amended by changing the classification from <br /> "HR", High-Density Residential, to "IC", Industrial-Commercial, of the follow- <br /> ing described property to wit: <br /> A Tract of land in Block 1 of "Delmar Avenue Addition" <br /> according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4, <br /> Page 69; in Blocks 7 and 11 of "North Parkview" according <br /> to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 11, Page 4; and <br /> in "Allmeroth Subdivision" in U.S. Survey 378, Township 45 <br /> North, Range 6 East, according to the plat thereof <br /> recorded in Plat Book 12, Page 6 of the St. Louis County <br /> Records, and further described as follows: <br /> Beginning at a point on the South line of Olive Street <br /> Road at the point of intersection with the centerline of <br /> former 63rd Street (40 feet wide) as shown on the afore- <br /> mentioned plat of Delmar Avenue Addition; thence along <br /> said centerline S 1 011145"W, 251.55 feet to a point on the <br /> North line of Block 11 of aforementioned North Parkview; <br />
