t <br /> A <br /> INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER LEVY <br /> BILL N0. 7739 ORDINANCE NO. 5535 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 23 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO OFFENSES - <br /> MISCELLANEOUS, BY ENACTING A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br /> "SEC. 23-8.1 . TRESPASSING UPON THE PROPERTY OF PUBLIC <br /> SCHOOLS WITHIN THE CITY," AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Chapter 23. of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> University City, relating to Offenses - Miscellaneous is hereby amended by <br /> enacting therein a new section to be known as, "Section 23-8.1. Trespass- <br /> ing upon the property of public schools within the City," so that said <br /> section shall read as follows: <br /> Sec. 23-8.1 . Trespassing upon the property of public <br /> schools within the City. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully, <br /> maliciously, or intentionally enter upon the premises, <br /> buildings or land in the possession of any of the <br /> public schools in the City of University City without <br /> the express or implied consent and permission of the <br /> principal of such school, or to fail or refuse to leave <br /> the same when requested to do so by the principal of <br /> the school, or the principal's representative. <br /> Section 2. The penalty provisions of Chapter 1, Section 1-8 of <br /> the Municipal Code of the City of University City shall be applicable with <br /> respect to each offense. <br /> Section 3.
