a A INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER PRICE BILL NO. 7761 ORDINANCE N0. 5556 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED a "LR" LIMITED RESIDENTIAL TO "PA" PUBLIC ACTIVITY AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE UNIVERSITY CITY ZONING CODE; CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City [University City Zoning Code] divides the City into several zoning districts, and regulates the character of buildings which may be erected in each of said districts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises ' located therein may be put; and WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, after a hearing, reviewed the classification of the property herein described and recommended the rezoning of said property to "PA"; and WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall, at 7:30 P.M. on th 7th day of July, 1986, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City; and WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held and the matter of the zoning change was thoroughly discussed at said meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVER- SITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, as comprehensively amended October 19, 1970, by Ordinance No. 4591 be and the same is hereby amended by changing the classification from "LW' Limited Residential to "PA" Public Activity of the following described property to wit: Lots 43 and 44 in Block 2 of Sutter Heights as recorded in Plat Book 7, page 72 of the St. Louis County Records in St. Louis County, Missouri; further described and numbered 6501 Crest Avenue.
