'r <br /> INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER ADAMS <br /> t <br /> BILL NO. 7769 ORDINANCE NO. 5562 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORDINANCE WHICH ESTABLISHED THE TAX <br /> RATE FOR THE UNIVERSITY CITY LOOP SPECIAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, <br /> ENACTED BY ORDINANCE NO. 5494 ON THE 19TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1985, <br /> BY AMENDING SAID ORDINANCE SO THAT THE TAX ON THE REAL PROPERTY <br /> OF THE DISTRICT SHALL BE FORTY-SEVEN CENTS ($.47) PER ONE HUN- <br /> DRED DOLLARS ($100.00) ASSESSED VALUATION; AND CONTAINING AN <br /> EMERGENCY CLAUSE. <br /> s <br /> WHEREAS, THE City Council of University City, by Ordinance No. 5494 <br /> I <br /> which was enacted on the 19th day of August, 1985, established the University <br /> City Loop Special Business District tax rate; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is required that the additional tax rate on real property <br /> i <br /> in the University City Loop Special Business District be established at Forty- <br /> seven Cents ($.47) per One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) assessed valuation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVER- <br /> SITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Ordinance No. 5494, which was enacted on the 19th day of <br /> August, 1985, is amended by deleting paragraph B of. said Section, and substituting z <br /> the following paragraph 4B which shall henceforth be read in its place and stead <br /> as follows: <br /> Section 4B. Revenue. <br /> B. The real property in the District shall be subject to an <br /> additional tax of Forty-seven Cents ($.47) per One Hundred <br /> Dollars ($100.00) assessed valuation. <br /> Section 2.
