Introduced by Councilmember Schoomer E BILL NO. 7776 (as amended) ORDINANCE NO. 5572 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-137 THEREOF, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 5524, ENACTED MARCH 10, 1986, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF PARKING METER ZONES, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-137. PARKING METER ZONES--DESIGNATED"; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of Univer- sity City, relating to Motor Vehicles and Traffic, is hereby amended by repealing Section 21-137 thereof, as amended by Ordinance No. 5524, enacted March 10, 1986, relating to the designation of parking meter zones, and enact- ing in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 21-137. Parking meter zones--designated"; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: Section 21-137. Parking meter zones--designated. There is hereby established in the City of University City designated parking meter zones which shall include the following streets or parts of streets: Zone A Gannon Avenue: The south side from the alley east of North and South Boulevard to North and South Boulevard. Zone B Delmar Boulevard: Both sides from Harvard Avenue to the east City limits. s t Zone C Enright Avenue: Both sides from Kingsland Avenue to Heman Avenue. Enright Avenue Lot: Public parking lot between the north line of Enright Avenue and a point 46' north thereof, and bounded by Kingsland Avenue and Syracuse Avenue. Gannon Avenue: The southside from the alley west of North and South Boulevard to North and South Boulevard. Heman Avenue: East side thereof from Delmar Boulevard to Enright Avenue. Kingsland Avenue: Both sides from Loop South to Washington Avenue. Leland Avenue: East side thereof from Delmar Boulevard to Loop South. Melville Avenue: Both sides from Delmar Boulevard to the alley south thereof. North and South Boulevard: Both sides from Gannon Avenue to a point one hundred and fifty feet south of the south line of Delmar Boulevard. Parking Lot No. 1: South side of Delmar Boulevard, west of 6317 Delmar (western half). Parking Lot No. 2: North side of Delmar Boulevard, west of 6318 Delmar (western half). Parking Lot No. 3: North side of Delmar Boulevard, west of 6639 Delmar (northern half). {
