BILL NO. <br /> <br />7826 <br /> <br />INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER ADAMS <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />5622 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES ESTABLISHING AND <br />AMENDING THE PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE IN CHAPTER 17, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW CHAPTER TO BE KNOWN ~S <br />"CHAPTER 17, EXISTING STRUCTURES CODE," SO AS TO ESTABLISH <br />MINIMUM STANDARDS GOVERNING THE CONDITIONS AND MAINTENANCE <br />OF ALL EXISTING STRUCTURES OR ANY PART THEREOF AND THEIR <br />PREMISES; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br />PENALTY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br /> <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City of University City, Missouri, hereby adopts the <br />UniverSity City Existing Str~ctures Code which is based on the text of the <br />BOCA National Existing Structures Code/1987, Copyrighted 1986, Building <br />Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc., published by arrange- <br />m~nts with the author. All rights reserved. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
