ELEVATOR, DUMBWAITER AND CONVEYeR EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE SECTION 2602.0 TESTS AND INSPECTIONS 2602.3,1 Periodic Tests: Periodic tests shall be made by an approved agency or by an inspector employed by an accredited insurance company which is the primary insurer of the equipment to be tested, and shall be made at the expense and responsibility of the owner. The approved agency or insurance company shall submit a detailed report of the tests to the code official on approved fnrms within 30 days following the completion of ~he tests.
