<br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />STUDY SESSION <br />FEBRUARY 05, 2007 <br /> <br />The Council Study Session, held in the Chambers of the City Hall, on Monday, February 05, <br />2007, was called to order by Mayor Adams at 5:30 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the <br />following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> Ms. Stefany Brot <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> <br />Also present was the City Manager, Ms. Julie Feier and Mr. Mike Williams of Hochschild, <br />Bloom & Co., University City’s auditors. <br /> <br />The Study Session agenda was planned to discuss the Comprehensive Annual Financial <br />Report for University City, for the fiscal year ending June 20, 2006. <br /> <br />The report consisted of three sections: <br />I. Introduction <br />A. Transmittal letter <br />B. Principal Officers <br />C. Organizational Chart of the City of University City of University <br />II. Financial <br />A. Independent Auditors’ Report <br />B. Management’s Discussion and Analysis <br />C. Basic Financial Statements <br />D. Fund Financial Statements <br />E. Budgetary Comparisons <br />F. Supplemental Accounting Information <br />III. Statistical <br />A. Assets <br />B. Tax Revenues <br />C. Fund Balances <br />D. Taxable Property <br />E. Outstanding Debt <br />F. Demographic and Economic Statistics <br />G. Principal Employers and City Government Employees <br />H. Operating Indicators and Capital Assets by Function <br /> <br />The study session was presented by Mr. Williams briefly highlighting points in each section of <br />the report. Council requested some further description or explanation of different areas for a <br />better understanding. <br /> <br />Time prohibited completion of the report and was to be continued in the Council session <br />following. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Joyce Pumm <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />
