(Artiole 32 Repair, Alteration, Addition TeArid Change Of Use Of Existing Buildings) (SECTION 3203.0 IMPLEMENTATION) 3203.1.1 Struotural Analysisz The owner shall have performed a structural analysis of the existing building structural systems that are affected by the proposed alterations, additions or change of use. The existing building structural systems affected by the proposed changes shall be capable of supporting the minimum load requirements of Article 11. Section 2. Savinq Clause. Nothing in this ordinance or in the Building Code hereby adopted, shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding pending in any court, or any rights acquired or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing under any act or ordinance hereby repealed, as.cited herein. Section 3. Severability. If any section, subsection, provision, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or of the BOCA National Building Code, Eleventh Edition, 1990, is for any reasons held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance or of said code and supplement, and the City Council of the City of University City, Missouri hereby declares that it would have passed the same, even though such portion so held to be unconstitutional had not been included herein, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are hereby declared to be severable. Section 4. Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provisions of this ordinance or the code hereby adopted, shall upon conviction thereof be subject to the penalties provided in Section 1-8 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, Missouri. Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, as provided by law. Attest: City Clerk PASSED THIS first day of April, 1991.
