BILL NO. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER PRICE <br /> <br />8052 ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />5841 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 23 OF THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY RELATING TO <br />OFFENSES-MISCELLANEOUS, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE <br />NO. 5812 ENACTED JULY 8, 1991 RELATING TO THE <br />PROHIBITION OF SOLICITATION FOR SALE OR LEASE OF <br />RESIDENTIAL REAL PROPERTY, SO AS TO ELIMINATE THE <br />LIMITATION OF ITS OPERATION TO A TRIAL PERIOD OF <br />SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF PASSAGE OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 5812, CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING <br />A PENALTY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINFD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0FUNI~'~RSTTY <br />CITY, MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section !. Section 23-41, subsections 1), 2), and 3) of <br />Ordinance No. 5812, enacted July 8, 1991 are hereby adopted <br />in their entirety. <br /> <br /> Section Z. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 5812, <br />it provides for nullification of Ordinance 5812 <br />from and after its passage, is repealed. <br /> <br />insolaf as <br />six months <br /> <br /> Section3. This ordinance shall not be construed so as <br />to relieve any person, firm or corporation from any penalty <br />heretofore incurred by the violation of Section 23.41, nor <br />bar the prosecution of any such violation.. <br /> <br /> Section{. Any person, firm or corporation violating <br />any of the provisions of this ordinance, shall upon <br />conviction thereof be subject to the penalty provided in <br />Chapter 1, Section 1-8 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />University City. <br /> <br /> Section ~.
