BILL NO. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER SCHOOMER <br /> <br />8107 ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />5895 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING THE RIGHT- <br />OF-WAY OF A PORTION OF APPLETON DRIVE IN DARSTDALE <br />SUBDIVISION, BUT RESERVING PUBLIC UTILITY EASE- <br />MENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE <br />RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF <br />ST. LOUIS COUNTY~ MISSOURI. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY <br />CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The public easement in the hereinafter <br />described right of way and all of the City's right, title, <br />and interest therein is hereby vacated and surrendered, but <br />reserving public utility easements, said -property more <br />specifically described as follows: <br /> <br />189 <br /> <br />Parcels of land in a portion of the Appleton Drive <br />right of way in Darstdale Subdivision. Beginning <br />at a point at the eastern corner of Lot 1, Block <br />14, and proceeding southeasterly along the rear <br />property line (produced) of Lot i a distance of 20 <br />feet to a point. Then proceed southwesterly <br />parallel to the southeastern property line of Lot <br />1 a distance of 175 feet to a point lying on the <br />Coolidge Drive ri~ght of way. Then proceed north- <br />westerly 20 feet to a point at the southern corner <br />of Lot 1. Then proceed along the southeastern <br />property line of Lot 1 to the point of beginning. <br />'Additionally, beginning from a point at the <br />northern corner of Lot 1, Block 15, and proceeding <br />northwesterly along the rear property line <br />(produced) of Lot 1 a distance of 20 feet to a <br />point. Then proceed southwesterly parallel to the <br />northwestern property line of Lot 1 a distance of <br />175 feet to a point lying on the Coolidge Drive <br />right of way. Then proceed southwesterly 20 feet <br />to a point at the western corner of Lot 1. Then <br />proceed along the northwestern property line of <br />Lot 1 to the point of beginning, reserving all <br />easements (0.16 acres more or less). <br /> <br /> Section 2.
