CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO OFFENSES-MISCELLANEOUS, AND ENACTING THEREIN A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 23-32.3. INSURANCE IDENTIFICATION CARDS, CONTENTS; EXHIBITION OF CARD TO PEACE OFFICERS, FAILURE TO EXHIBIT"; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 23 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, relating to Offenses-Miscellanmous is hereby amended by enacting.therein a new section to be known as "Section 25-32.3. Insurance Identf'f'~i~ ~ards, Contents; Exhibition of Card to Peace Officers, Failure to Exhibit;" reading as follows: 23-32.3. INSURANCE IDENTIFICATION CARDS, CONTENTS; EXHIBITION OF CARD TO PEACE OFFICERS, FAILURE TO EXHIBIT. 1. An insurance identification card issued pursu- ant to Chapter 303 RSMo. shall be carried in the insured motor vehicle at all times. The operator of an insured motor vehicle shall exhibit the 'insurance identification card on the demand of any peace officer who lawfully steps such operator which that officer is engaged in the performance of the duties of his office. If the operator fails to exhibit an insurance identification card, the officer shall notify the director of revenue, in the manner determined by the director. A motor vehicle liability insurance policy, a motor vehicle liability insurance binder, or receipt which con- tains the policy information required in subsection 2 of this section, shall be satisfactory ev~'~nd~ .... of insurance in lieu of an insurance identification card. 2. For each motor vehicle insured by a motor vehicle liability policy pursuant to Chapter 303 RSMo., the insurance identification card shall include all of the following information: (1) The name and address of the insurer; (2) The name and address of the named insured;
