BILL NO. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER ADAMS <br /> <br />8141 ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />5929 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY <br />CITY TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH ST. <br />LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI, FOR MOSQUITO CONTROL <br />SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY <br />MANAGER OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY TO ENTER <br />INTO ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY A CONTRACT WITH ST. <br />LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI, FOR MOSQUITO CONTROL <br />SERVICES. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY <br />CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City Manager of University City is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into and execute a <br />contract with St. Louis County, Missouri, whereby said <br />County, by and through its Department of Community Health and <br />Medical Care will perform mosquito control services within <br />said City. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City shall compensate St. Louis County, <br />Missouri, for hand spraying (larviciding) ,and/or power <br />spraying (fogging), the hourly rate Set forth in the contract <br />and as such rate is charged in accordance with the terms and <br />conditions of the contract between the City and the County. <br /> <br /> S~ction ~.
