FEES FOR USE OF <br /> CITY AMBULANCE SERVICE,' SO ASTO INCREASE THE BASE FEE FROM ONE HUNDRED <br /> AND FIFTY DOLLARS ($150) TO ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SIX DOLLARS ($156); <br /> CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 2 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, relating to <br />Administration is hereby amended by repealing Section 2-7.1 thereof, relating to Fees for Use <br />of City Ambulance Service and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be.known as "Section <br />2-7.1. Fees for Use of City Ambulance Service," to increase the base fee from one hundred and <br />fifty dollars ($150) to one hundred and fifty-six dollars ($156), by re-enacting said section so that <br />said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: <br /> <br />SFCTION ?-7.1 FFFS FOR USF OF CITY AMBULANCF SFRVICF <br /> <br />Any person using the facilities of the City ambulance shall be charged the amount <br />of one hundred fifty-six dollars ($156) for each such use. In addition to such base <br />fee, an additional twenty-five dollars ($25) shall be charged for any and each of <br />the following services provided; endotracheal intubation, IV administered, <br />suctioning airway, and/or oxygen administered. In the event of a University City <br />ambulance responding to a mutual aid reciprocal jurisdiction, then the city may <br />charge such fees that that jurisdiction charges. <br /> <br /> Section ?. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or <br />corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Section 2 nor bar the <br />prosecution for any such violation. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance, <br />shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1, Section 1-8 of <br />the Municipal Code of the City of University City. <br /> <br /> section 4.
