BILL NO. 8249 INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER SCHOOMER ORDINANCE NO. 6033 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-132 THEREOF, RELATING TO PROHIBITED PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS - AT ALL TIMES, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-132. PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS - AT ALL TIMES," BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO PROHIBIT PARKING AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS ON DELMAR BOULEVARD; CONTAINING SAVING AND EMERGENCY CLAUSES AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, relating to motor vehicles and traffic is hereby amended by repealing Section 21-132 thereof, relating to parking prohibitions on certain streets - at all times, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 21-132. Parking prohibited on certain streets - at all times," by amending said section so as authorize the City Manager to prohibit parking at certain locations on Delmar Boulevard; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: Sec. ~'1-13~). Parking prohibited on certain streets - at all times. The following streets or parts of streets are hereby designated as places where the parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times: Alley North of J oop North: Both sides thereof from the first alley east of Kingsland Avenue to Leland Avenue. Appleton Ddve: North side from the east curb of Tamerton Avenue eastwardly for a distance of sixty feet. Asb~ry AvemJe: East side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. Amherst Avenue: Along the perimeter of the triangular island at the intersection of Midland Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue. Rig Rend Roul!~vard: Both sides, from the south City limits to Forsyth Boulevard, and from Lindell Boulevard northwardly to Millbrook Boulevard."' Rl~ckberry Place: On the west side thereof from Shaftesbury Avenue to Blackberry Avenue. Rland Drive: West side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard.
