BILL NO. 8272 INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER SCHOOMER ORDINANCE NO. 6055 AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING A PART OF 66TH STREET SOUTH OF OLIVE BLVD. IN UNIVERSri~ CITY, MISSOURI, IN ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI, BUT RESERVING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. WHEREAS, 66th Street south of Olive Blvd. is a public street in University City, Missouri, in St. Louis County, Missouri; and WHEREAS, a hearing was held at the City Hall of University City, Missouri at 7:30 p.m. on May 20, 1996, to hear any comments concerning the proposed vacation of a part of 66th Street south of Olive Blvd; and WHEREAS, all comments concerning the proposed vacation of a part of 66th Street south of Olive Blvd. were heard. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CIIY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. A part of 66th Street, a public street, south of Olive Blvd., and all the City's right, title and interest therein, is hereby vacated, surrendered and quitclaimed, reserving however, all public utility easements, if any; said parcel of land is more specifically described as follows: A part of 66th Street, 40 feet wide, South of Olive Blvd. and more padicularly described as follows: Beginning at the Nodhwest corner of Lot 29, Block 4, of Delmar Avenue Addition, as shown on the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 69 of the St. Louis County Records; thence Nodh 03° 00' 00" East, 288.125 feet along the West boundary line of said Block 4, to the Nodhwest corner of Lot 10 of said Block 4, this also being a point in the South Right-of- Way Line of Olive Blvd. 60 feet wide; thence Nodh 87° 01' 30" West, 40 feet along said South right-of-way line of Olive Blvd. to a point, this point also being the Northeast corner of Lot 1, of Block 5 of the said Delmar Avenue Addition; thence South 03° 00' 00" West, 188.125 feet along the East line of the said Block 5 to the Northeast corner of Lot 8 of the said Block 5; thence South 87° 01'30" East, 20.00 feet to a point; thence South 03° 00' 00" West, 100 feet to a point; thence South 87° 01" 30" East, 20 feet to the point of beginning, and containing 9525 square feet.
