From and after June 25, 1997, initially payable July 11, 1997, the City <br />employees within the classified service of the City, hereinafter designated, shall receive - <br />as compensation for their services such amounts as may be fixed by the City Manager in <br />accordance with the Civil Service Rules and Pay Grade Schedule A, included herein, and <br />not less t.han the lowest amount and not greater than the highest amount set forth in <br />Schedule B.
