11. The search shall be conducted in a reasonable manner. The search may be made at night <br />if making it during the day is not practicable. <br /> <br />12. A code official or peach officer maldng a search pursuant to an invalid warrant, the invalidity <br />of which is not apparent on its face, may use such force as he/she would be justified in using <br />if the warrant were valid. <br /> <br />13. The code official or peace officer may summon as many persons as helshe deems <br />necessary to assist hirt'tlher in executing the warrant. Such perohs shall not be held liable as a <br />result of the illegality of the search and seizure. <br /> <br />14. If any property is seized, the code official or peace officer shall give to the person from <br />whose possession it is taken, if he/she is present, a copy of the warrant and an itemized receipt <br />of the properly taken. If no person is present, the code official or officer shall leave the copy and <br />the receipt at the site of the search. <br /> <br />15. A copy of the itemized receipt of any property taken shall be deli,~ered to the office of the <br />prosecuting attorney within two working days. <br /> <br />PM-105.11 Official records:-Delete in its entirety. <br /> <br />(SECTION PM-106.0 VIOLATIONS) <br /> <br />PM-106.1 Unlawful acts: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to erect, <br />construct, alter, extend, repair, remove, demolish, maintain, fail to maintain, provide, fail to <br />provide, use or occupy, let to another for use or occupancy or permit another person to use or <br />occupy any structure, premises, or equipment regulated by this code, or cause same to be done, <br />contrary to or in conflict with or in violation of any of the provisions of this code, or to fail to obey <br />a lawful order of the code official, or to remove or deface a placard or notice posted under the <br />provisions of this code. <br /> <br />PM-106.2 Penalty: Any person, firm or corporation, who shall violate any provision of this code <br />shall upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties provided in Section 1-8 of the Municipal <br />Code of the City of University City. Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been <br />sewed, in accordance with the terms and provisions hereof, shall-be deemed a separate <br />offense. <br /> <br /> (SECTION PM-107. O NOTICES AND ORDERS) <br /> <br />PM-107.3 Method of service. Such notice shall be deemed to be properly served if a copy <br />thereof is: <br /> 1. Delivered personally; or <br /> <br /> 2. Sent by certified or first class mail addressed to the last known address; or <br /> <br /> 3. If the notice is returned showing that the letter was not delivered a copy <br /> thereof is posted in a conspicuous place in or about the structure <br /> affected by such notice. <br /> <br /> <br />
