PM-112.6 Revocation of permit: The code official shall revoke a permit in case of any false <br />statement or substantial misrepresentation of facts in the application on which a permit was <br />based, or in the event a structure is condemned pursuant to this code. <br /> <br /> (CHAPTER 2 DEFINITIONS) <br /> <br /> PM-202.0 GENERAL DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />Approved: Approved by the code official. <br />Basement: See Section PM-302.0 <br />Bathroom: See Section PM-502.0 <br /> <br /> Bedroom: Any room or space used or intended to be used for sleeping purposes. <br /> Building: Any structure used or intended for sheltering any occupancy. <br /> <br />Building code: The building code officially adopted by the City Council of the City of University <br />City, Missouri for the regulation of construction, alteration, addition, repair, removal, demolition, <br />location, occupancy and maintenance of buildings and structures. <br /> <br />City: The City of University City <br /> <br />Code official: The building commissioner of the City of University City, or the duly authorized <br />representative of the building commissioner. <br /> <br />Condemn: To adjudge unfit for use or occupancy. <br /> <br />Dwellings: (See Section PM-201.5) <br /> <br /> Dormitory: A space in a building where group sleeping accommodations are provided <br /> in one room, or in a series of closely associated rooms, for persons not members of the <br /> same family. <br /> <br /> Hotel: Any building containing six or more guest rooms, intended or designed to be <br /> occupied, or which are rented or hired out to be occupied, for sleeping purposes by <br /> guests. <br /> <br /> One-family dwelling: A building exclusively containing one dwelling unit and pdvate <br /> garage, carport or storage uses incidental to that dwelling unit. <br /> <br /> Rooming house: A building arranged or occupied for lodging, with or without meals, <br /> for compensation and not occupied as a one-family dwelling or a two-family dwelling. <br /> <br /> Two-family dwelling: A building containing two dwelling units. <br /> <br />Dwelling unit: A single unit providing complete, independent living facilities for one or more <br />persons, including permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking and sanitation. <br /> <br />Efficiency dwelling unit: A dwelling unit containing only one habitable room, with or <br />without a separate kitchen space. <br /> <br />Exterior property: See Section PM-302.0 <br /> <br />Extermination: See Section PM-302.0 <br /> <br />-9- <br /> <br /> <br />
