BILL NO. ORDINANCE NO. ~ AN ORDINANCE GRANTING, SELLING AND CONVEYING A TRACT OF LAND MEASURING APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET FROM NORTH TO SOUTH AND 733.04 FEET FROM WEST TO EAST, SOUTH OF VERNON AVENUE AND IMMEDIATELY EAST OF PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, TO THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSI1Y CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City of Unive~ly City, Missouri is the owner of a tract of land measuring approximately 50 feet from north to south and 733.04 feet from west to east, south of Vernon Avenue and immediately east of Pennsylvania Avenue, shown on the attached plat marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof, and more fully described as follows: A 50 foot wide tract of land in U.S. Survey 378, Township 45 Nodh, Range 6 East, being part of Parcel 2 as described in Deed Book 3220, Page 555 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the northern line of Block 17 of UNIVERSITY PARK, as per plat recorded in Plat Book 16, Pages 38 and 39 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office and the eastern line of Pennsylvania Avenue, 60 feet wide, said point also being the southwest comer of said Parcel 2 as recorded in Deed Book 3220, Page 555; thence northwardly along the eastern line of Pennsylvania Avenue a distance of 50.00 feet to a point; thence leaving said eastern line of Pennsylvania Avenue, eastwardly and parallel to the south line of Vernon Avenue, 60 feet wide, a distance of 733.04 feet to a point on the west line of Lot 1, Block 4 of VERNON PLACE NO. 2, as per plat recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 105 of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence southwardly along said west line of Lot 1, Block 4 of Vernon Place No. 2, a distance of 50.00 feet to a point, being the southeast corner of the aforementioned Parcel 2; thence westwardly in a straight line, along the south line of said Parcel 2 to the point of beginning. Section 2. In consideration for the sum of one dollar ($1.00) and other valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the City of University City hereby grants, sells and conveys said property to the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. Section 3. The City Manager of the City of University City, Missouri is hereby authorized and directed to enter into and execute on behalf of the City of University City, Missouri, all documents in connection with said grant, sale and conveyance.
