Amendment to Section 34-90, Page 6 of 12 <br /> <br />Garden Apartment (Walk-up Apartment): A two (2) or three <br />(3) story apartment building containing not more than <br />twelve (12) dwelling units, with common access to all <br />units provided by one or two stairways. <br /> <br />Gross Floor Area: cf. Floor Area (Gross Floor Area). <br /> <br />Group Home for the Handicapped: A dwelling unit where <br />a group of unrelated mentally or physically handicapped <br />persons reside and in which such a group does not fall <br />within the definition of ~family." <br /> <br />Group Home for the Handicapped, Small: A dwelling unit <br />where eight (8) or fewer unrelated mentally or physically <br />handicapped persons reside, plus not more than two (2) <br />additional persons serving as house parents or guardians <br />who need not be related to each other or to any of the <br />mentally or physically handicapped persons residing in <br />the dwelling. <br /> <br />Group Home for the Handicapped, Large: A dwelling unit <br />where more than eight (8) unrelated mentally or <br />physically handicapped persons reside, plus additional <br />persons serving as house parents or guardians who need <br />not be related to each other or to any of the mentally or <br />physically handicapped persons residing in the dwelling. <br /> <br />Home Occupation: See Section 34-51.2. <br /> <br />Hospital: Any premises, other than a nursing home, <br />convalescent home or substance abuse treatment center, <br />devoted primarily to the diagnosis, treatment and <br />overnight nursing or medical care of individuals <br />suffering from illness, disease, injury or other abnormal <br />physical conditions. <br /> <br />Hotel: A building or group of buildings containing more <br />than twenty-five (25) rooms which are intended, used or <br />designed to be rented or let out for compensation by <br />tourist or other transients. <br /> <br />Lot: A parcel of land which has been or which is <br />proposed to be used, developed, or built upon as a unit <br />under single ownership. Such a lot may consist of a <br />single lot of record or a part or combination of one or <br />more lots of record. <br /> <br />Major Recreational Equipment: <br /> 1. Any motor vehicle other than a commercial <br /> motor vehicle which is not a private passenger <br /> vehicle as herein defined; or <br /> 2. Any equipment, other than commercial <br /> <br /> <br />
