BILL NO. AN ORDINANCE A34ENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, AT OR NEAR 501, 509 AND 515 NORTH & SOUTH FROM "SR" - SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, TO "PD" - PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE UNIVERSITY CITY ZONING CODE. WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City (University City Zoning Code) divides the City into several zoning districts, and regulates the character of buildings which may be erected in each' of said districts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises located therein may be put; and WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, after hearing on June 25, 1997 reviewed the classification of the properties herein described and recommended the rezoning of said properties to PD (Planned Development District); and WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Council in the City Council Chambers at City Hall at 7:30 p.m., July 28, 1997, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City on July 12, 1997; and WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held and the matter of the zoning change was thoroughly discussed at said meeting. NOW TftEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, Missouri, relating to zoning is hereby amended by changing the classification of the following described property at or near 501, 509 and 515 North & South, from Single Family Residential District (SR) to Planned Development District (PD) : Lot 17 of Block 2 New Delmar Heights Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 16, Page No. 52 (501 North & Sonth) Lot 16 ef Block 2 New Delmar Heights Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 16, Page No. 52 (509 North & South) Let 15 of Block 2 New Delmar Heights Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 16, Page No. 52 (515 North &South) The above described tract having St. Louis County locator numbers of: 18K-61-0770 (501 North & South) 18K-61-0824 (509 North & South) 18K-61-0868 (515 North & South)
