(01~C~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING, SELLING AND CONVEYING A TRACT OF <br />LAND MEASURING APPROXIMATELY 35 FEET FROM NORTH TO <br />SOUTH AND 1061 FEET FROM WEST TO EAST, SOUTH OF VERNON <br />AVENUE AND EAST FROM A POINT 733 FEET EAST OF PENNSYLVANIA <br />AVENUE, TO THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City of University City, Missouri is the owner of a tract of land <br />measuring approximately 35 feet from north to south and 1061 feet from west to east, <br />south of Vernon Avenue and 733 feet east of Pennsylvania Avenue, more fully described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> A tract of land that varies in width from 50 feet wide to 35 feet wide and is a part of <br />a parcel of land in U.S. Survey 378, Township 45, North, Range 6 East, and this parcel is <br />described as Parcel No. 1 in Deed Book 3220, Page 555 of the St. Louis County <br />Recorder's Office. This tract of land, being the part of said Parcel No.1, that contains the <br />southern parts of Lots 1 to 35 inclusive in Block No. 4 of Vernon Place No. 2, a subdivision <br />of record in Plat Book 8, at Page 105, in the Recorder of Deeds Office for St. Louis County, <br />Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of the <br />aforesaid Lot 1; thence eastwardly along the southern line of the aforesaid subdivision, and <br />a distance of 1060 feet 11-3/8 inches to the southeast corner of the aforesaid Lot 35; <br />thence northwardly along the east line of Lot 35, a distance of 35 feet; thence westwardly <br />and parallel with the south line of said subdivision and 35 feet north thereof, and a distance <br />of 880 feet 11-3/8 inches to the east line of Lot 6 of the said subdivision; thence westwardly <br />to a point in the east line of Lot 5, and a distance of 35.25 feet north of the south boundary <br />line of the said subdivision; thence westwardly to a point in the east line of Lot No. 4, and <br />a distance of 36.35 feet north of the south boundary line of the said subdivision; thence <br />westwardly to a point in the east line of Lot 3, and a distance of 38.45 feet north of the <br />south boundary line of the said subdivision; thence westwardly to a point in the east line <br />of Lot No. 2, and a distance of 41.35 feet north of the south boundary line of the said <br />subdivision; thence westwardly to a point in the east line of Lot 1, and a distance of 45.25 <br />feet north of the south boundary line of the said subdivision; thence westwardly to a point <br />in the west boundary line of the said subdivision also being the west line of Lot 1, and a <br />distance of 50 feet north of the south boundary line of the said subdivision; thence 50 feet <br />southwardly along the western line of Lot 1 also being the western boundary line of the <br />said subdivision to the point of beginning. The total area is approximately 38,720 square <br />feet. <br /> <br /> <br />
