Rev. 1987 <br /> <br />618.230 <br /> <br />Record of Inspection. <br /> <br /> It shall be the duty of the Supervisor, the Chief Inspector and of any inspector to keep a record of all <br />instruments used or to be used for weighing or measuring which have been tested, and the date, place of <br />inspection, name of the party for whom such inspection was made, and the amount of the fee or charge <br />collected from said party for said inspection. <br /> <br />618.240 False Tests. <br /> <br /> Neither the Supervisor, the Chief Inspector nor any inspector shall use any false instrument or make <br />any false test in making his examination and testing of instruments used or to be used for weighing and <br />measuring. <br /> <br />618.250 <br /> <br />Prohibition Against Interest in Sale of Instruments. <br /> <br /> The Supervisor, the Chief Inspector, the inspectors and all other persons connected in any way with <br />the office of Weights and Measures are prohibited fi'om selling, offering for sale, or having an interest directly <br />or indirectly in the sale within the County of any instrument used for weighing or measuring. <br /> <br />618.260 <br /> <br />Fees for Test of Weighing and Measuring Devices. <br /> <br /> The Supervisor of the Inspectors of Weights and Measures shall demand and receive, semiannually, <br />for examining, testing and sealing instruments used or to be used for commercial weighing or measuring, the <br /> <br />Scales 50 pounds or less .................................. $ 2.00 <br />Scales 51 pounds to 400 pounds .............................. 3.00 <br />Scales 401 pounds to 1,200 pounds ........................... 4.00 <br />Scales 1,201 pounds to 3,500 pounds .......................... ;5.00 <br />Scales 3,501 pounds to 10,000 pounds ......................... 7.50 <br />Scales over 10,000 pounds (except vehicle and axle) .............12.50 <br />Axle load scales .......................................... 15.00 <br />Vehicle scales (to 40,000 pounds) ............................ 17.50 <br />Vehicle scales (over 40,000 pounds) .......................... 20.00 <br />Person weigher scales ...................................... 2.00 <br />Jeweh'y/preeious metal scales ................................ 2.00 <br />Pump (gasoline, diesel, etc.) ................................. 3.00 <br />Liquid or dry measure (to 1 gallon) ............................0.10 <br />Liquid or dry measure (I to 5 gallons) .........................0.50 <br />Liquid or dry measure (5 to 100 gallons), per gallon ..............0.10 <br />Linear measure (yardstick tape) ............................. 1.00 <br />Linear measure (measuregraph) .............................. 2.00 <br />Cordage meter ............................................ 2.00 <br />Any remspection required .................................. 10.00 <br /> <br />following fees: <br /> <br />WTAO(Rev)-8 <br /> <br /> <br />
