Rev. 1987 <br /> <br />graduations of measurements marked plainly thereon. No counter measures where tacks are set apart and <br />used to determine measurements of goods when sold shall be accepted as standard measure. It shall be <br />unlawful for any person to use any other than the hereinbefore said measures. <br /> <br />618.670 <br /> <br />Construction Contracts. <br /> <br /> That fractional parts of any unit of weight or measure shall mean like fractional parts of the value of <br />such unit as prescribed or defined in sections 618.020 and 618.030 of this chapter, and all contracts <br />concerning the sale of commodities and services shall be construed in accordance with this requirement. <br /> <br />618.680 <br /> <br />Licensing of Solid Fuel Business; Copartnerships and Corporations. <br /> <br /> Before any person shall engage in the solid fuel business, he shall make an application for a license <br />or renewal of a license, in writing, to the Supervisor of Weights and Measures, five days prior to the issuance <br />of the license. Such application shall set out, under oath, the following information: <br /> <br />(1) The name under which the dealer intends to do business; <br />(2) The address of the yard and separate sales office, if any; <br />(3) Whether the business shall be conducted as an individual, co-partnership or corporation; <br />(4) The full name and residence address of the applicant, if an individual, the names and residence <br />addresses of all panners if a co-pannership; and the names and addresses of all officers, if a <br />corporation; <br />(5) The names of all bonded weigh-masters who have been appointed in accordance with the <br />provisions of this Chapter; <br />(6) A list of the equipment to be used in the business, such as storage facilities and the make and <br />capacity of scales. <br /> <br /> In the case ofa co-pannership or corporation, all delivery tickers and advertising must carry the name <br />of the licensed firm; and if co-pannerships or officers of a corporation operate .separately, under their <br />individual names, separate licenses shall be required. <br /> <br />618.690 Equipment. <br /> <br /> No license required by this chapter to operate a solid fuel business shall be issued to any person, firm <br />or corporation tim does not possess proper equipment for the operation of the solid fuel business within St. <br />Louis County. Such equipment shall consist of a yard with reasonable storage facilities therefor, an office <br />and a platform scale of sufficient capacity to weigh loaded delivery vehicles used in the business. Each <br />licensec may operate one yard and if desired, a separate sales office, which must be operated under the <br />identical name and ownership. <br /> <br />WTAO(Rev)-20 <br /> <br /> <br />
