04/04/66 BILL NO. 68 .1966 ORDINANCE NO. 3911 . 1966 Introduced by Councilman Stewart AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 618 TITLE VI, SLCRO, 1964, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT AND CONDUCT OF TIlE OFFICE OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURE, BY REPEALING THEREFROM, SECTION 618.480 - BLANK WEIGHT CERTIFICATES ISSUED TO WEIGHERS, REQUIREMENTS AND REGULATIONS AS TO USE, AND SECTION 618.580 - FEES FOR WEIGHING; CHARGING IMPROPER FEE, ETC., AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SECTIONS RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT MATTERS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Chapter 618 Title VI SLCRO 1964, as amended, relating to the establislma~at conduct of the Office of Weights and Measures, be and the same is hereby amended by repealing Section 618.480 and Section 618.580 thereof and enacting new sections in lieu thereof to be known numbered as Section 618.480 - Blank Weight Certificates issu~ to Weighers, Kcquir~-m~ md Regulations as to Use, and Section 618.580 - F~e.s for Weighing; Charging Improper Fees, etc., whie, h sections shall read as follows: 618.480 BLANK WEIGHT CERTIFICATES ISSUED TO WEIG!t~.11S, REQ~ AND REGULATIONS AS TO USE. The Supervisor of Weights and Measures shall cause to be printed certificates in blank, signed by the Supervisor of Weights and Measures, for the use of all bonded w~ighers at authorized scales, who have been or may be appointed with the approval of the Supervisor of Weights and Measures, and who have filed a bond in the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) m ~ provided. The cenifica~ so issued and furnished autho~zed weighers shall be printed in quadmpik~, tbe original in green, the duplicate in white, the triplicate in yellow and the quadmplicate in pink for all weights and loads of solid fuel. or other commodities weighed. All the certificates and copies for solid fuel shall show the origin of the solid fuel (Mine Number), the ,im~ of the weighing thereof, and shall show the true gross, tare and net weights, and shall also state the name and address of the purchaser, the seller's name and address, and such other reasonable information u the Supervisor of Weights and Measures may from time to time direct, and shall correctly describe the quality, kind and size of the solid fuel, or the character of the commodity weighed.
