06/04/63 <br /> <br />2. Knowingly and wilfully dispose of any rejected to condemned weight or measure in any manner <br />contrary to law or regulation; <br />3. Remove from any weight or measure, contrary to law or regulation, any tag, seal. or mark placed <br />thereon by the Supervisor, the Chief Inspector or one of the inspectors; <br />4. Sell or off'er to expose for sale less than the quantity he represents of any commodity, thing, or <br />service; <br />5. Take more than the quantity he represents of any commodity, thing, or service, when, as buyer, he <br />furnishes the weight or measure by means of which the amount of the commodity, thing, or service is <br />determined. <br />6. Knowingly and wilfully keep for the purpose of sale, advertise, or offer or expose for sale, or sell <br />any commodity thing or service in a condition or manner contrary to law or regulation. <br />7. Use in retail trade, except in the preparation of packages put up in advance of sale and of medical <br />prescriptions, a weight or measure that is not so positioned that its indications might be accurately read and <br />the weighing and measuring operations observed from some position which may reasonably be assumed by <br />a customer. <br /> <br />618.790 Penalties. Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined <br />not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) and each day such <br />violation shall continue shall be deemed to be a separate offense. In addition to the penalties prescribed <br />herein, the County Executive may take such other action, either at law or in equity, that he deems necessary <br />in order to execute and enforce the provisions of this chapter. <br /> <br />Adopted May 23. !963 <br /> <br />Approved <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />May 27. 1963 <br /> <br /> Edward A.
