ORmNANCE NO. lOtfieI AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND SURRENDERING A PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF WEST KINGSBURY AVENUE, NEAR ONE MCKNIGHT PLACE, BUT RESERVING ANY PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS, AND DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE RECORDED IN THE OFFICE OF THE RECORDER OF DEEDS OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MISSOURI. WHEREAS, West Kingsbury Avenue is a public street in Boschert's Addition to Clayton, in University City, in St. Louis County, Missouri; and WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, in a meeting held at City Hall on October 1, 1998, at 7:30 p.m., approved the vacation of said right-of-way and recommended to the City Council that it be done; and WHEREAS, due notice of a public heating to be held by the City Council in the City Council Chambers at City Hall on October 12, 1998, at 7:30 p.m., was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City, on September 25, 1998; and WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place specified in said notice, and all suggestions or objections concerning said vacation were duly heard and considered by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. A portion of the right-of-way of West Kingsbury Avenue in University City, in St. Louis County, Missouri, and all of University City's right, title and interest therein is hereby vacated, surrendered and quitclaimed, reserving, however, all public utility easements, if any; said property is more specifically described as follows: A portion of West Kingsbury (40' Wide) Avenue formerly known as Felmlee (40' Wide) Avenue fronting on now or formerly Lots 18, 19 and Lots 7, 6 o fBoschert's Addition to Clayton as recorded in Plat Book 9, Page 37 Township 45 North, Range 6 East, in St. Louis County, Missouri and being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the common comer of the Southeast comer of the East ½ of Lot 7 of the said Boschert's Addition to Clayton as recorded in Plat Book 9, Page 37 and the Southwest comer of Lot 1 of One McKnight Place as recorded in Plat Book 261, Page 32; thence Northerly along the Westem line of the said Lot 1 of One McKnight Place North 00o59'23" West 185.69 feet to a point being the now or formerly the Northeast comer of said East ½ of Lot 7 and on the South right of way line of West Kingsbury Avenue, said point being the actual point of beginning of said vacation of a portion of West Kingsbury (40' Wide) Avenue hereon described; thence along common line of the said Southem right of way line of West Kingsbury Avenue and the Northern line of said East ½ and
