BILL NO.~J))q ~_~_ ' I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.020 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS DURING DESIGNATED HOURS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION ~I O BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.44.020 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS DURING DESIGNATED HOURS", THEREBY AMENDIN{) SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT PARKING DURING DESIGNATED HOURS ON THE FOLLOWING STREETS OR PARTS THEREOF: BALSON AVE., EIGHTY-SECOND BLVD., FERGUSON AVE., JACKSON AVE., KINGSLAND AVE., PERSHING AVE., SUTTER AVE., AND PARTRIDGE AVE.; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDINI3 A PENALTY. BE IT ORD, X. INED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section10.44.020 thereof, relating to parking prohibite ] on certain streets during designated hours, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be kr.own as "Section 10.44.020 Parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours", taereby amending said section so as to prohibit parking during designated hours on the following streets or parts thereof: Balson Ave., Eighty-Second Blvd., Ferguson Ave., Jackson Ave., Kingsland Ave., Pershing Ave., Sutter Ave., and Partridge Ave.; so that said section, as so amenc'ed, shall read as follows: 10.44.020 Parking prohibited on certain streets during designated hours. The following: streets or parts of streets are designated as places where parking is prohibited during the time hereir set forth within the meaning of the title: Alta Dena Court: On the west s de thereof from University Drive to Pershing Avenue between the hours of nine a.m. and eleven a.m. On the east si/le thereof between the hours of one p.m. and three p.m. except Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Balson Avenue: On the north ~,ide thereof between Jackson Avenue and Hanley Road between the hours of eight a.m. and four p.m. on every day of the week except Saturday, Sunday, and holidays and election days. On both sides thereof from Purdue Avenue to Hanley Road between the hours of three-thirty p.m. and five p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month. On both sides thereof from Purdue Avenue to Midland between the hours of one p.m. and four p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month.
