AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON SPECIFIC <br />STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.010 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING <br />PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES, AND SECTION 10.44.040 <br />THEREOF, RELATING TO ONE-HOUR PARKING ZONES, AND ENACTING IN LIEU <br />THEREOF NEW SECTIONS TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.44.010 PARKING <br />PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES", AND "SECTION 10.44.040 <br />ONE-HOUR PARKING ZONES", THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTIONS SO AS TO <br />PROHIBIT IlARKING AT ALL TIMES ON THE EAST SIDE OF MIDLAND BLVD. <br />FROM CAMBRIDGE AVE. TO A POINT SIXTY FEET SOUTH THEREOF, AND TO <br />RESTRICT PARKING TO ONE HOUR BETWEEN NINE A.M. AND FIVE P.M. ON <br />ANY DAY ON THE WEST SIDE OF MIDLAND BLVD. BETWEEN DELMAR BLVD, <br />AND PRINCETON AVE., WITH NO ONE-HOUR RESTRICTIONS ON THE EAST <br />SIDE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Section 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking <br />restrictions on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.44.010 thereof, relating to parking <br />prohibited on certain streets at all times, and Section 10.44.040 thereof, relating to one-hour parking zones, <br />and enacting in lieu thereof new sections to be known as "Section 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain <br />streets at all times", and "Section 10.44.040 One-hour parking zones"; so that said sections, as so amended, <br />shall read as follows: <br /> <br />10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times. <br /> The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where the parking of vehicles is <br />prohibited at all times: <br /> Alley North of Loop North: Both sides thereof from the first alley east of Kingsland Avenue to <br />Leland Avenue. <br /> Appleton Drive: North side from the east curb of Tamerton Avenue eastwardly for a distance of <br />sixty (60) feet. <br /> Asbury Avenue: East side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. <br /> Amherst Avenue: Along the perimeter of the triangular island at the intersection of Midland <br />Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue. <br /> Big Bend Boulevard: Both sides, from the south city limits to Forsyth Boulevard, and from <br />Lindell Boulevard northwardly to Millbrook Boulevard. <br /> Blackberry Place: On the west side thereof from Shaftesbury Avenue to Blackberry Avenue. <br /> Bland Drive: 'West side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. <br /> Burch Lane cul-de-sac: From a point on the west side of the Burch Lane cul-de-sac forty-two <br />(42) feet north of the drive in front of 1169 Burch Lane, extending along the north and east sides of the <br />cul-de-sac to the frontage at 1156 Burch Lane. <br /> Canton Avenue: North side thereof between Partridge Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue. <br /> Center Drive: Both sides thereof and both sides of the median strip from Gannon Avenue to <br />Amherst Avenue. <br /> Chamberlain Avenue: At the west end of the 7400 block thereof, being approximately fifty (50) <br /> <br /> <br />
