AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
<br />THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, RELATING TO ZONING BY
<br />REPEALING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP ILLUSTRATING THE ZONING
<br />DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO SECTION 34-22 THEREOF, AND
<br />ENACTINC] 1N LIEU THEREOF A NEW OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, THEREBY
<br />AMENDING SAID MAP SO AS TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF
<br />PROPERTY AT 519, 523, 527, 531 AND 535 NORTH AND SOUTH
<br />BOULEVARD FROM SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT ("SR") TO
<br />LIMITED RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT ("LR"); CONTAINING A SAVING
<br />CLAUSE .4 ND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, Missouri
<br />divides the City oflJniversity City (City) into several zoning districts, and regulates the character
<br />of buildings which xnay be erected in said districts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises
<br />located therein may be put; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS. the City Plan Commission examined an amendment of the Official Zoning Map
<br />of the City which changes the classification of property at 519, 523, 527, 531 and 535 North and
<br />South Boulevard from Single-Family Residential District ("SR") to Limited Residential District
<br />("LR"); and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS the City Plan Commission, in a meeting held at City Hall on February 24, 1999,
<br />at 7:30 p.m., approved said amendment and recommended to the City Council that it be enacted into
<br />an ordinance; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, due notice of a public heating to be held by the City Council in the City
<br />Council Chambers at City Hall on April 12, 1999 at 7:30 p.m., was duly published in the St. Louis
<br />Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City, on March 27, 1999; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place specified in said notice, and
<br />all suggestions or objections concerning said amendment were duly heard and considered by the City
<br />Council.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, Missouri,
<br />relating to zoning, is hereby amended by repealing the Official Zoning Map illustrating the zoning
<br />districts established pursuant to Section 34-22 thereof, and enacting in lieu thereof a new Official
<br />Zoning Map, thereby, amending the Official Zoning Map so as to change the classification of
<br />property at 519, 523,527, 531 and 535 North and South Boulevard from Single-Family Residential
<br />District ("SR") to Limited Residential District ("LR").

<br /> Section 2. Said property at 519, 523, 527, 531 and 535 North and South Boulevard is
<br />more fully described as follows:

<br />Lot 14 (519), Lot 13 (523), Lot 12 (527), Lot 11 (531), Lot 10 (535) in Block 2 of New
<br />Delmar Heights, a subdivision in St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat thereof
<br />
