ORDINANCEN0. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC <br />STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.36.170 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />CLOSED STREET INTERSECTIONS-BARRICADES, AND ENACTING IN LIEU <br />THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.36.170 <br />CLOSED STREET INTERSECTIONS-BARRICADES ," THEREBY AMENDING <br />SAD SECTION SO AS TO ADD TO THE LIST OF CLOSED STREET <br />INTERSECTIONS BOYNTON AVENUE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE <br />AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to regulations <br />for specific slxeets, is hereby mended by repealing Section 10.36.170 thereof, relating to closed <br />street intersections-barricades, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section <br />10.36.170 Closed street intersections-Barricades;" so that said section, as so mended, shall read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />10.36.170 Closed street intersections-Barricades <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for the operator of a motor vehicle to operate the vehicle through the <br />hereinal%r named street intersections. The Director of Public Works shall erect suitable <br />barricades to prohibit such movement of vehicular traffic at said intersections: <br /> <br />Bornton Avenue: At east city limits. <br /> <br />Center Avenue: At the rear property line of the property fronting Delmar Boulevard. <br /> <br />Cornell Avenue: <br /> <br />From the southeast comer of the small parkway to the south comer <br />of Cornell Avenue where the south leg of Cornell Avenue joins <br />Jackson Avenue. <br /> <br />Dorset Avenue: <br /> <br />At a point forty-five (45) feet east of the east line of jackson Avenue <br />between the hours oftwo-~tteen p.m. and three p.m. on school days. <br /> <br />Etzel Avenue: <br /> <br />At the north line of the alley north of Olive Boulevard. <br /> <br />Hather Place: <br /> <br />At Canton Avenue. <br /> <br />Jackson Avenue: <br /> <br />Thirty-six (36) feet south of the south line of ShaResbury Avenue <br />between the hours of two_fifteen p.m. and three p.m. on school days. <br /> <br /> <br />
