ORDIN qCE NO. AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF A TRACT OF LAND TO BE KNOWN AS LOT 1 OF MANSIONS ON THE PLAZA PLAT 1 AND LOCATED AT 8300 DELMAR BOULEVARD; CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, on January 21,2000, Mansions on the Plaza, L .P. submitted for approval a final subdivision plat of a tract of land to be known as Lot 1 of Mansions on the Plaza Plat 1 and located at 8300 Delmar Boulevard, University City, Missouri; and WHEREAS, at its meeting on February 3, 1999, the University City Plan Commission approved a preliminary subdivision plat of said land; and WHEREAS, at its meeting on February 29, 2000, the University City Plan Commission reviewed the final subdivision plat, determined that the final plat is in substantial compliance with the approved preliminary plat, and recommended to the City Council of University City approval of the final plat; and WHEREAS, the final subdivision plat application, including all required documents and information submitted therewith, is before the City Council for its consideration. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Attached, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof is a final subdivision plat of a tract of land to be known as Lot 1 of Mansions on the Plaza Plat 1 and located at 8300 Delmar Boulevard, University City, St. Louis County, Missouri. The final subdivision plat consolidates lots known as Lots 16, 17, 18 and Part of Lot 19 of Delcrest and located at 8301, 8307, 8315, 8321, 8325 and 8329 Delcrest, and 8326 and 8328 Delmar Boulevard, into one lot. Section 2. It is hereby found and determined that the final subdivision plat is in full compliance with the University City Municipal Code, including Section 16.12.240 thereof. Accordingly, the final subdivision plat marked Exhibit "A" is hereby approved. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to endorse upon the final subdivision plat the approval of the City Council under the hand of the City Clerk and the seal of University City. Section 4. It is hereby declared that an emergency exists in that the final subdivision plat applicant will suffer financial hardship that could adversely affect the development of the land and the general welfare of the people of the City of University City if the plat is not appmved immediately.
