SILLNO. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. ~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAFFER 10.36 OF THE CITY OF <br />UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RE! ATING TO REGULATIONS FOR <br />SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.36.040 THEREOF, <br />RELATING TO SCHOOL ZONES DESIGNATED, AND ENACTING IN LIEU <br />THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.36.040 <br />SCHOOL ZONES DESIGNATED," THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO <br />AS TO ESTABLISH A SCHOOL ZONE ON WASHINGTON AVENUE, FROM <br />HANLEY ROAD TO JACKSON AVENUE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE <br />AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to regulations <br />for specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.36.040 thereof, relating to school <br />zones designated, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 10.36.040 <br />School zones designated;" so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 10.36.040 School zones designated <br /> <br />The following streets and parts of streets are hereby designated as school zones within the <br />meaning of this title: <br /> <br />Balson Avenue, from Hanley Road to a point two hundred (200) feet east of Purdue Avenue. <br /> <br />Bartmer Avenue, from Ferguson Avenue to a point two hundred (200) feet east of Sadler <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Blackberry Avenue, from Gay Avenue to Swarthmore Lane. <br /> <br />Canton Avenue, from a point two hundred (200) feet east of Lamb Avenue to a point two <br />hundred feet west of Lamb Avenue. <br /> <br />Clemens Avenue, from Interdrive Avenue to Westgate Avenue. <br /> <br />Delmar Boulevard, from a point two hundred (200) feet east of Midland Boulevard to a point <br />two hundred feet west of Midland Boulevard. <br /> <br />Dorset Avenue, from Jackson Avenue to a point two hundred (200) feet east of Jackson <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Eighty-First Street, from Groby Road to a point three hundred (300) feet north thereof. <br /> <br /> <br />
