BILLNO.~C~5~ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE qO. 6o3 35' <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10. 36 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC <br />STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.36.090 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />STOP INTERSECTIONS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW <br />SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 10.36.090 STOP INTERSECTIONS <br />- VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS," THEREBY <br />AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO AUTHORIZE STOP SIGNS ON <br />WASHINGTON AVENUE AT WEST POINT AVENUE AND ON WEST <br />POINT AVENUE SOUTHBOUND AT WASHINGTON AVENUE; <br />CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CH~, MISSOURI, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to regulations for specific <br />streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section10.36.090 thereof, relating to stop intersections, and enacting in <br />lieu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 10.36.090 Stop intersections - Vehicles to stop at certain <br />intersections," thereby amending said section so as to authorize stop signs on Washington Avenue at West Point <br />Avenue and on West Point Avenue southbound at Washington Avenue; so that said section, as so amended, shall <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 10.36.090 Stop intersections - Vehicles to stop at certain intersections. <br /> <br />The following street intersections are hereby designated as stop intersections for certain entrances thereto <br />within the meaning of this title. Every operator of a vehicle or other conveyance proceeding on streets <br />listed in the lefthand column below shall stop such vehicles or other conveyance before entering or <br />crossing the street opposite in the fighthand column below: <br /> <br />Ahem Avenue ...................................
