call attention to the prohibition of excessive or unnecessary noises within such zones; <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Drums, Loudspeakers, Calling, Etc. The use of any drum, loudspeaker or other <br />instrument or device, unless a permit be obtained therefor from the city manager, <br />which permit shall specify the place where such device is to be used and the hours <br />thereof; or the unnecessary calling with the voice for the purpose of attracting <br />attention by the creation of noise or for advertising purposes. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or <br />corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Chapter 9.08, Section 9.08.240, <br />nor bar the prosecution for any such violation. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this <br />ordinance, shall , upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1.12, <br />Section 1.12.010 of the University City Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
